Rainbow Advocacy Inclusion and Network Services seeks to empower, educate, and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in Cowlitz County and surrounding areas. RAINS knows there is a need in Cowlitz County and surrounding areas for LGBTQ+ inclusive services, resources, and educational opportunities. They are working within the community to accomplish this, build a network, and provide safe events where everyone can be accepted, valued, and live authentically as themselves.
Q Center
The Q Center is the largest LGBTQ+ community center in the Pacific Northwest, proudly serving the LGBTQ+ communities of Portland Metro and Southwest Washington. Their drop-in and event space on North Mississippi Avenue is a frequent first stop for new arrivals in Portland, and for longtime residents who are newly out or questioning their sexual or gender identity. Q Center also serves as a resource and information hub for friends, partners, community, and family members of LGBTQ+ individuals.
