"Mahina" is the Hawaiian word for "moon." In Hawaiian culture, we align ourselves with the cycles of the moon and we seek guidance by looking to the stars.

I created Mahina Therapy with the intention of decolonizing my therapy practice and rooting my work in indigenous teachings. Therapy is so often Western focused and steeped in the practices of white supremacy, so I aim to dismantle those systems in my work by honoring my culture and the cultures of my clients.

I provide gender affirming letters with the goal of reducing barriers to life-saving procedures. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington.
